  • KU Start-up Investment Fund($2.5M)
    Created in August 2017A fund made for start-ups created and led by students or faculty. (Up to 300million KRW of funds for each startup)
  • Future ESV Investment Fund($10M)
    Created in January 2019A fund for social impact startups (Up to 1 billion KRW of funds for each startup)
  • KU Public-Technology Commercialization Investment Fund($4.2M)
    Created in August 2019A fund for startups that have been recognized for success in R&D or transferred public technology. (Up to 500 million KRW of funds for each startup)
  • KU Start-up Investment Fund($0.3M)
    Created in January 2019A fund for startups based on the technology researched or achieved through Korea University.
  • KU Start-up Investment Fund no. 2($4.3M)
    Created in July 2021A fund made for startups created and led by students or faculty. (Up to 500 million KRW of funds for each startup)
  • KU Global Tech Innovation Investment Fund ($3.4M)
    Created in August 2021A fund made for tech innovative small, medium business and venture with history of less than 3 years or revenue of less than 2 billion KRW (Up to 400 million KRW of funds for each startup)

TIPS Program

The TIPS Program is a private investment-linked program supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. It provides promising technology start-up teams invested from TIPS Program operators who have the ability of accelerators to match angel investment, childcare, mentoring, government R&D, start-up commercialization, and overseas marketing fund.
Korea University Holding contributes to TIPS Program Selection by supporting business plan building, business model building, and commercialization strategy with initial start-up teams.

Value Up Program

Provide total solution for technology start-up

  • Technology

    Linking technology to the problem needed to be solved. Supporting patent strategy establishment through consulting support with expers.

  • Fund

    Linking VC follow-up investment. holding IR twice a year (Bio / ICT). Recommendation once a month in connection with the Corporate Loan Support Program.

  • Space

    Providing nursery space for start-up teams through university and local consortiums.

  • Network

    Networking of domestic and foreign VC and start-up industry workers. Matching mentors from the related industry.

  • Global

    Linking programs with overseas accelerators located in major regions such as US and China. holding Global IR and participating in global exhibition twice a year.

Incubating Center

In order to accelerate portfolio companies, we are operating the Incubating Center.
Korea University Holdings’Incubating Center has 3 independent rooms, 5 open rooms, various spaces for global video accelerating program and 1 to 1 mentoring.
